Review: Beauty Pageant by The Bobby Lees

This was a lot of fun. It's raw in a way that doesn't feel sloppy and its extremely short runtime couldn't possibly overstay its welcome. The sound is cohesive without getting stale (tho there is a moment after the second song begins where you wonder if this will suffer from Ramones Syndrome). The songs are fun and unselfconscious and they'd all be right at home on a THPS soundtrack or a Guy Ritchie movie. It's punky and bluesy and only like 20 minutes long, so give it a shot if you like distorted guitars, reverby vocals, or 1-2-3-4 counts on the drum sticks to start a song.
